For Ultimate Speed you need to polish the inside of the wheel bore. I've looked down inside the wheel bore with some powerful magnifying equipment. Take my word for it... it's not a pretty site. I've tested a wide variety methods and materials for polishing the wheel bore. The best results I've ever seen are obtained by using this specialized type and size of pipe cleaner.

Simply put the pipe cleaner in your hand held drill, feed a wheel on to the pipe cleaner, apply a coat of our Wheel Bore Polish, and use the drill to slowly polish the inside of the wheel bore. When finished rinse and clean the wheel out completely using warm water and an unused, clean pipe cleaner. You will be amazed at the increase in speed you get in your pinewood derby car!
