By design, wood is removed from the center of the car enabling you to put more weight in the rear. This feature dramatically increases the potential energy of your pinewood derby car. Each car comes with precision drilled axle holes in an extended wheel base with 4 wheels touching the track and holes pre-drilled holes for our lead wire or tugsten cylinder weights.  For a 3 wheeler (fastest), use the DART X 384. Wheels and axles are sold separately to give your car that winning edge!
