The Pro Outer- Hub Shaver is designed to remove performance robbing burrs and molding lines from the outter hub area of Pinewood Derby Car Wheels or remove the step from the new style wheels. (see additional pic and video)

It insures accurate rotation by squaring the outer wheel hub to the center of the wheel bore for proper, accurate mounting on the Pro-Wheel Mandrel.

And improves wheel hub to axle head contact for a Smoother / Friction Free ride by eliminating the run-out & flaws on the outer wheel hub and is a MUST if doing a Rail Rider Alignment.

Note:The Pro-Outer Hub Shaver is intended for use on BSA and PineCar wheels. It is NOT intended for use on wheels by other manufacturers.

A Pro Hub Tool is required.

PRO SPEED TIP:  The new B.S.A. wheels have a double step on the outter hub under the axle head. Use the Pro Outter Hub Shaver to remove this step  and move the contact point to the edge of the inner hub. this will reduce the contact area per revolution by 40% and greatly reduce friction. This is awhat is done to the Derby Worx Pro wheels to gain more speed.
